Teeny Tucker comes to Rockford, IL, with a show at Lyran Park on Saturday, August 28th. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 day of the show. The show is from 3 to 6 PM. Teeny was last in Rockford at the 2019 Blues Blast Music Awards and we can’t wait to have her for an entire show! Opening for Teeny are Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo, a great young trio from Madison, WI, local great musician Wheatbread Johnson plays between acts.

This is the second of Crossroads Blues Society’s Heirs to the Blues Shows. Teeny is the daughter of Tommy “Hi Heeled Sneakers” Tucker and is a powerhouse singer and performer. Aaron is the son of Cadillac Joe Anderson who fronted his band the Blind Wolves for many years.

Bring a chair, bring a cooler with your favorite food and beverages and have a great time. Handicapped accessible (we have a golf cart). Lyran Park is at 4781 S Bend Rd, Rockford, IL 61109, a private park on the banks of the Kishwaukee River just south of Rockford Airport. It’s a beautiful, natural amphitheater with room to spread out and safely watch shows.
