Below is the weekly spins report for WGLT Blues (Dec 30, 2013 – Jan 5, 2014).  This report includes all current releases in rotation.

GLT now produces 168 hours of Blues Programming every week on GLT Blues Radio 24/7 @ wglt.org.  Included in that 168 hours are the regular 33 hours of weekend blues broadcast “over the airwaves” in Central IL.  Specific “over the air” broadcast hours are Friday night from 7PM to midnight and Saturday & Sunday from Noon to 4PM with “Delta” Frank Black, the Blues Doctor.  GLT Blues is also on the air Saturday from Midnight to 5am & 4pm to Midnight; and Sunday from Midnight to 5am & 4PM to 6 PM. 

During the 168 hours of local blues mentioned above, GLT plays the new releases listed below in addition to classic blues recordings from artists like Howlin Wolf, B.B. King, Ruth Brown, Buddy Guy, Sonny Boy Williamson, John Lee Hooker, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters, and more.  We’re also spinning recent releases that are now recurrent, and therefore unreported.  If you don’t see your release, please email or call the number below.
