5 tracks/17 minutes

Jennifer Lyn currently lives in North Dakota and has a late 1960’s to early 1970’s feel to her music. Classic and blues rock guitar and soulful vocals make her music appealing and fun. This release contains five songs that she and co=producer Richard Torrance wrote. Lyn handles lead vocals and guitar. Torrance backs her vocals and shares in the lead guitar work. Barb Jiskra is on the keys, Chris Addison plays bass and Jim Anderson is on drums. She mastered and mixed the songs herself.

The title tracks rocks things out to begin. A nice blues rocker, Lyn and Torrance play some nice guitar and lay out some very decent licks. Lyn handles the lead vocals and sings with affirmation. We also get a nice little piano solo to enjoy. “Low Down Dirty Shame” is next and the jumping tunes continue. They included some funky guitar as Lyn sings with Torrance backing her along with her own backing vocals. Wee get lots more cool guitar and piano to savor, including a twin guitar solo.

Things slow down for a nice, slow and dirty blues in “Going Round In Circles.” Lyn croons out the sad song and the guitars also help set the tone for this cut.  She sings with passion and we get a stinging guitar solo, too. The pace picks up dramatically with “Give Me All Your Lovin’” as Lyn and the band rock out. It’s a big party as the vocalist, guitars, and piano blaze. The closing track is a somber piece entitled “You Can Take It All.” with a bluesy, southern rock feeling to it. Lyn sings with Torrance backing her. Thoughtful dual guitar soloing is tastefully done as Lyn again sings with emotion.

It’s a nice assortment of original tunes with a blues rock edginess that is fun and enjoyable. Blues rock fans will certainly enjoy this one!
