In memory of Sean’s birthday (April 16th), Northside Tavern donates its use for an annual benefit in his name. This year’s lineup features some of Atlanta’s best coming together to honor their brother. Kicking off the show are two very special youth bands heavily influenced by Sean’s music: Frets on Fire and Abe Lincoln & the Log Lawyers. Returning is The Georgia Flood performing originals and covers from blues greats. A special treat is an Acoustic Hour with Bill Sheffield and Jon Liebman, amazing musicians and close friends of Sean. Rod Hamdallah will rock the stage after spending time on the road with JD Wilkes and the Dirt Daubers. The Larry Griffith Band will bring you to your feet and keep you dancing. An Atlanta favorite, The Cazanovas, placing in the semi-finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, will close the show. Very Special Guests, friends and former band mates of Sean’s, will be stopping by to join in the celebration.
Doors open and entertainment begins at 7:00pm.
